The flange adjustment can be optimized by modifying the thickness of the flange shim (16)

Mount a PL checker on the lens

Mount a lens on the projector
-
Calibrate the distance between the screen and the focal plan at 6'
-
Optimize the focus at long focal length
-
Then, zoom to short focal length
-
If the best focus plan is between the screen and the lens, it is necessary to decrease
the thickness of the shim (16)

If the best focus plan is behind the screen, it is necessary to increase the thickness of
the shim.(16)

To replace the flange shim (16), remove the PL mount (17) (Picture 6)
-
Remove the shim (16) (Picture 7)
-
Install the new shim (16)
