Operating Instructions
Description:
The compressed air pneuMATO 55 grease spraying unit is suitable for covering large surfaces on
machines, vehicles and gears uniformly with lubricant. Commercial lubricants up to NLGI / Class 2
can be sprayed. The pump is fully automatic in operation. When the trigger on the spray gun is
actuated, the spraying process will start. If the trigger is released, the pump will automatically stop the
delivery of grease.
Any other use, or modification or alteration to the pneuMATO 55-LubeJet is only permissible
after discussions with the manufacturer
Lubricants:
Greases up to consistency 2 (NLGI / Class 2 to DIN 51818) can be used.
Pastes with no lubricating properties (with an abrasive content) or silicon pastes must not be used.
Putting into service and Operation (mobile):
-
Remove the lid from the grease tub.
-
Push the grease follower piston onto the grease in
the tub, until it is visible in the central hole. The
rubber lip must be in uniform contact with the wall of
the tub.
-
Fit the grease container with its bottom lip in the
centralising notches of the centralising frame. The
grease container must be fitted so that its lip is in
the in same centralising notches of the centralising
frame counting from the outside.
-
If the grease container cannot be fitted centrally,
the centralising frame must be turned upside down.
(guaranteeing that any grease container from 10-50
kg can be fitted in the centralising frame)
N.B.!! The central location of the grease container is a
requirement for the proper functioning of the
lubrication unit.
-
If plastic containers with no bottom lips are used,
the 4 stoppers (Item 16) must be fitted on the
centralising frame. The stoppers are placed on the
centralising frame with the blind hole on the „teeth"
of the frame and secured by a light hammer blow.
(count teeth from the outside)
-
The stoppers can also be used for „normal" grease
containers with lips in order to be able to find the
central position more quickly and reliably when
changing the container
-
Place the dust cover on the tub with the grease follower cover.
-
Push the pump gear support down to the dust cover and secure with the wing nut.
-
Push the pump unit through the pump gear support, the dust cover and the grease follower
cover, to the base of the grease container. Secure the pump unit with the wing nut.
-
Connect the twin hose to the pump and the spray gun.
F
Before putting the unit into service, check all connections for firm seating and leaks.
