Fitting kit
- 4 fitting brackets
- 2 netting 200 mm x 80 mm
- 2 plastic washers Ø6
- 2 self-locking nuts Ø6
Fitting instructions
- Netting can be fitted at the air intakes with silicone.
- Place the fitting brackets as shown on the pictures below, without tightening so as to adjust the belly pan position
later.
- Remove the metallic part from the silent blocks. Insert the rubber part in the fitting holes of the belly pan.
Then replace the metallic part, with the flange outside.
- Assemble the belly pan with the central part thanks to the provided double-sided adhesive tape. Screws Ø6x15,
plastic washers Ø6 and self-locking nuts supplied are used on the lower part.
- Mount the belly pan thanks to the provided screws 6x20, the plastic spacer and the screw Ø6x30; this last one has
to be placed between the bracket N°3 and the belly pan. Adjust the position of the bracket to adjust the one of the
belly pan. Then tighten all screws.
- Once fitted, the belly pan must have no contact with engine and has to be far enough from complet exhaust
system. Fitting brackets' angles may be a little modified in order to adjust the accessory to every motorbike
(do not fold the fixing brackets while fitted on belly pan).
* Painted and varnished parts are not guaranteed against high pressure steam washes or aggressive cleaning products which can damage them and unstuck the varnish. We advise moreover, according to the technical data of our
painting suppliers, to wait one month to obtain a complete polymerization of varnish.
* Accessories gone up on the motorbike will not be any more considered as new and will be neither retaken nor exchanged.
* Ermax accessories are foreseen for original equipments. They will not be guaranteed if they are used in others conditions.
* Due to vehicles made tolerances, beyond our control, some Ermax products might need adjustings to fit.
* The mentioned label of motorbikes's manufacturers are indicated exclusively as a reference to Ermax accessories.
* Care to excessive clampings which may damage or break our plastic accessories and aluminium screws.
* Belly pans will be neither retaken nor exchanged in case of rubbing during a "sports" driving, or during the clearing of pavements, uneven road surfaces ... The fitting of Ermax accessories is planned for a normal road use.
* Move hoses so that they do not fall inside the belly pans. Any deterioration due to flows of corrosive products is not guaranteed.
