SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Carefully read the operating instructions before using the appliance.
-
Save these instructions, warranty, receipt, and, if possible, the box with inner packaging in a safe
place.

This appliance is solely intended for private, non-commercial use.

Always remove the outlet plug when the appliance is not in use, cleaning it, or when it does not work
properly. Turn off the appliance. Do not remove it from the cable, remove it from the plug.

Keep the device far away from children to avoid their receiving electric shocks. Be sure that the
appliance is out of reach of children. Be sure the cable does not get stuck.

Check the cable and appliance on a periodic basis, looking for damage. Do not turn on the appliance
if damaged.

Do not repair the appliance by yourself: consult an authorized technical service.

Keep the appliance and cable far from heat, direct sunlight, humidity, sharp edges, etc.

Never leave the appliance unattended if it is being used. Always unplug the appliance if it is not going
to be used even though it may be for a brief period of time.

Only use original parts.

Never use the appliance outdoors.

Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquid. Do not let the device be exposed to water or other
liquids. Do not use the appliance with wet or damp hands.

Remove the plug from the outlet immediately if wet or damp.

If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its authorized technical service,
or by a qualified technician, with the goal of avoiding damage.

The bread may burn, so do not use the toaster near or below flammable material such as curtains.

The device is not designed for use with an external timer or a separate remote control system.

This product is not permitted for use by children or other persons without assistance or supervision
if their physical, sensory or mental limitations prevent them from using it safely. Children should be
supervised to ensure they do not play with this product.

Use only for the purpose for which it was designed.

When you are no longer going to use this product, recycle it to be disposed according to local
regulations.

Do not leave equipment running while unattended: very dry bread can burn if it toasts.

The metal pieces heat up. Take extreme care not to burn them.

Do not insert forks, knives or similar objects into the bread slot.

Do not place the appliance near flammable objects (e.g. curtains, wood, etc.).
OPERATION
1. Plug the cord into the outlet.
2. Turn the dial clockwise to adjust the toast level from 1 (least toasted), to 6 (most toasted). If in doubt,
start at the lowest setting.
3. Insert a slice of bread into the slot and lower the lever until it locks.
4. The appliance will toast. The device automatically turns off once the selected toast level is reached.
The toast will automatically pop up.
To use the special functions, press the button for the function you wish once you have lowered the switch.
REHEAT OR DEFROST. The function is indicated by the corresponding pilot light control.
Defrost: to defrost bread.
Reheat: to reheat toast.
Cancel: to stop toasting early.
