Operation (Fig 6)
- The machine may only be used for dry grinding.
- After operation, always switch off the machine and wait until the grinding wheels come to a complete stop before
any operation on the machine.
- Hold the workpiece firmly with either hands, or an appropriate tool.
- Keep the grinding wheels without making any contact with the workpiece, then turn the tool on and wait until the
wheels reach full speed.
- Place the workpiece subject to grinding onto the work rest (2) and press it moderately against the grinding wheel.
- To achieve optimal grinding results, lightly move the workpiece back and forth. This also ensures that the grinding
wheel is worn off evenly.
- Occasionally cool off the workpiece in water; you can use the coolant tray (10)
CAUTION:
To prevent accidents, make sure to turn the switch off and disconnect to the plug from the power receptacle.
Inspecting the machine
- Keep the machine clean.
- The machine, especially the plastic parts, should be cleaned with a soft damp cloth. NEVER use solvents to clean
machine. They could possibly damage the material.
- Repair, modification and inspection must be must be carried out by a LEMAN Authorized Service Center.
In the operation and maintenance of power tools, the safety regulations and standards prescribed in each country
must be observed.
Inspecting the mounting screws
Regularly inspect all mounting screws and ensure that they are properly tightened. Should any of the screws be
loose, retighten them immediately. Failure to do so could result in serious hazard.
Maintenance of the motor
The motor unit winding is the very "heart" of the power tool. Exercise due care to ensure the winding does not
become damaged and/or wet with oil or water.
- For safe and proper working, always keep the machine and ventilation slots clean.
- Periodically blow out all air passages with dry compressed air.

Do not dispose of electric tools together with household waste material!
In observance of European Directive on waste electrical and electronic equipment and its
implementation in accordance with national law, electric tools that have reached the end of their life
must be collected separately and returned to an environmentally compatible recycling facility.
