Warning: Please read this instruction manual carefully before using the instrument and keep it for future use.
A. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. The device is intended exclusively for private and not for commercial use. Only use this device as describe in this instruction
manual.
2. Do not place any part of this appliance in water or any other liquid.
3. Do not handle the unit or plug with wet hands.
4. Keep it away from heat sources such as radiators, to avoid deformation of plastic parts.
5. Do not use coarse or abrasive sponges/cloths or steel wool to clean the appliance.
6. This unit is not designed to be operated by means of an external timer or a separate remote-control system.
7. It is suggested to try the device by yourself first, so as to know how to use it.
8. In order to avoid affecting accuracy of the device due to the external too cold or too hot environment, it must be placed in
general environment of room temperature of 16℃ -35℃ for at least 30 minutes before use to avoid incorrect measurement
results.
9. The person measured should be kept at room temperature for at least 20 minutes to make body temperature balanced.
10. After strenuous exercise, you should rest for at least 30 minutes before taking measurement.
11. Wipe the skin dry and push aside hair strands before commencing.
12. When repeated measurements are made continuously, move away the probe between each measurement and rest for at least
5s before making the next to obtain the most correct result.
13. The normal reading value is about 35.5 ℃ ~37.8 ℃ . The user should take more temperature to know his or her own health
temperature. Pay attention to physical changes or consult your doctor if there is any abnormality.
14. Check the probe is clean before each measurement to ensure accuracy.
15. Do not use the thermometer under temperature extremes (below 16℃/60.8℉ or over 35℃/95℉) or humidity extremes (below
15%RH or over 80%RH).
16. Do not expose the thermometer to temperature extremes (below -20℃/-4℉ or over 55℃/131℉) or humidity extremes (below
15%RH or over 93%RH).
17. Don't touch or blow infrared sensor. A polluted or broken infrared sensor may cause inaccuracy.
18. Do not use a mobile phone nearby when the thermometer is working. Portable and mobile RF communications equipment can
affect MEDICAL ELECTICAL EQUIPMENT. Falling to do so may cause inaccuracy.
19. Do not modify this equipment without authorization of the manufacturer. The device is not repairable and contains no user
serviceable parts.
20. The operator shall not touch the thermometer and the patient simultaneously.
B. PRECAUTIONS D'USAGE

Always place the thermometer in the same place on your forehead when taking a forehead temperature, as the value may be
different from one place to another.

In order to ensure the accuracy of the measurement, there should be no hair, sweat, cosmetics and dirt, etc. on the forehead
when measuring.
-
If you place ice or the like on the forehead of the feverish patient the measurement result will be falsified. Users should avoid
action in this case.
