Fitting kit
- 1 insert
- 1 6x15 CHC screw
- 4 Ø6 washers
- 1 plastic collar (to fix the rear hugger at the place of the insert)
Assembly
- Remove the chain guard and the guide of the rear brake hose.
- Put the hugger on the reinforcement of the swinging arm and centre it in relation to the tyre.
- Mark the place of the insert on the swinging arm, on the rear right hand side. Remove the rear
hugger and drill swing arm (Ø 9) then fix the insert using a special tool ("Würth" or "Facom"). The
collar may be used in place of the insert if you do not want to bore the swinging arm.
- Fix the rear hugger by progressively tightening screws and washers, and check that it stays always
centred.
- Don't forget to harden the rear shock absorber when you ride with a passenger or on a bumpy road
not to damage the rear hugger.
* Painted and varnished parts are not guaranteed against high pressure steam washes or aggressive cleaning products which can damage them and unstuck the varnish. We advise moreover, according to the technical data of
our painting suppliers, to wait one month to obtain a complete polymerization of varnish.
* Accessories gone up on the motorbike will not be any more considered as new and will be neither retaken nor exchanged.
* Ermax accessories are foreseen for original equipments. They will not be guaranteed if they are used in others conditions.
* Due to vehicles made tolerances, beyond our control, some Ermax products might need adjustings to fit.
* A few tyres, faithful to ETRTO standards, may be in fact bigger and higher than dimensions engraved on the tyre (until + 10 mm). They may be not compatible with undertrays and rear huggers which we made with
original tyres and whose dimensions correspond to these ones engraved on tyre.
* The mentioned label of motorbikes's manufacturers are indicated exclusively as a reference to Ermax accessories.
* Care to excessive clampings which may damage or break our plastic accessories and aluminium screws.
