Fitting kit
- 1 cable tie
- 1 screw 6x15
- 1 self adhesive rubber pad
- 3 Ø6 plastic washers
- 1 piece of foam thick 5mm L=60mm
Assembly
- Remove the chain guard and retain fixing screws. Take off the brake hose bracket on right hand side.
- For the Versys from 2015 : stick the foam under the rear hugger at right hand side as shown on picture :
- Position the hugger on the bike ensuring its central sitting in relation to the tyre.
- Stick rubber pad between the brake hose bracket and the rear hugger not to damage it.
- Fix the rear hugger thanks to the original screws and 2 provided washers on the chain guard side. On the
front right side, unscrew the plastic cap and fix the rear hugger with the provided screw and remaining
washer. Then refit the brake hose bracket.
- The cable tie is used for extra support on the front left hand side as shown above.
* Painted and varnished parts are not guaranteed against high pressure steam washes or aggressive cleaning products which can damage them and unstuck the varnish. We advise moreover, according to the technical data
of our painting suppliers, to wait one month to obtain a complete polymerization of varnish.
* Accessories gone up on the motorbike will not be any more considered as new and will be neither retaken nor exchanged.
* Ermax accessories are foreseen for original equipments. They will not be guaranteed if they are used in others conditions.
* Due to vehicles made tolerances, beyond our control, some Ermax products might need adjustings to fit.
* A few tyres, faithful to ETRTO standards, may be in fact bigger and higher than dimensions engraved on the tyre (until + 10 mm). They may be not compatible with undertrays and rear huggers which we made with
original tyres and whose dimensions correspond to these ones engraved on tyre.
* Harden the rear shock absorber while drivings with load or on dented roads.
* Care to excessive clampings which may damage or break our plastic accessories and aluminium screws.
* The mentioned label of motorbikes's manufacturers are indicated exclusively as a reference to Ermax accessories.
