3. MARKING SCREEN

To mark stainless steel surfaces it is necessary the use of a marking screen (17) that it is realizable on specific graphic
request of customer.

max. 257x170mm. With marking screen is possible to realize approximately 500-1000 marks, if it is used correctly.
N -G offers to its customers the possibility to buy a printer (21), connectable to a PC, in order to print disposable

screens marking. These screens are specific, for example, to mark serial numbers, logos and EC tags.

4. MARKING GRAPHITE INSERTS INSTALLATION (P
1. Unscrew the screw (13) situated on the handgrip (11) with the 2,5mm Allen Key.
2. Install the graphite insert (14) on the handgrip (11) and fix it with the 2,5mm Allen Key.
5. MARKING FELTS INSTALLATION (P
1. Put the marking felt (15) on the graphite insert (14) so that it will be all covered.
2. Fix the marking felt (15) to the graphite insert (14) using the O-ring (16).
Pay attention: in case the marking felt (15) is not properly fixed the following situations can arise:
 short-circuit due to the contact between the graphite insert (14) and the workpiece .

the marking screen (17) can be damaged by the contact with a corner of the graphite insert (14).

6. WORK-PROCESS SELECTION

Put the AC/DC switch (7) on the marking function you selected
Black line (AC) : for darker and bolder marks (with marking electrolyte - 18)
White line (DC) : for lighter marks

7. ELECTRIC INSTALLATION

The unit must be installed by qualified and skilled personel. All the connections must be performed in compliance with the
regulations in force and in observance of the accident prevention Law.
Before connecting the machine, make shure that:
 there is the earth wire;
 the system is in accordance with the unit capacity;
 there are protective devices against all the overcurrents in case of overloads or short-circuits;
 there are automatic cut offs according to the type of grounding, in order to avoid any indirect contact;
 electric cables, sockets and plugs making up the machine are in good state.
Therefore proceed to electric installation:
Machine OFF:
1. Connect one side of the torch power cable (9) into the socket (5) situated in the front panel of the machine and the other
side on top of the handgrip (11). (Picture D – Picture E)
2. Connect the plug of ground cable (10) into the socket (6) in front of the machine. (Picture E)
3. Put the clamp of the ground cable (10) on the stainless steel work piece that has to be marked. (Picture F)
4. Insert the plug of machine power cable (1) into a socket in compliance with the laws in force, by referring to the rated
voltage indicated on the rear panel of machine.
