Fork Lift Maintenance Platform

Instructions
This platform is specifically designed to match the
forklift requirements according to working platforms on
forklift trucks guidance note PM28. It features multiple
safeguards and includes a folding structure for ergonomic
storage and transport.

Installation
1. Lift the safeguard and secure it to the back rail using
the inner pin. Secure the back rail and base with pins.
2. Lift the front rail and open both the left and right
doors. Secure both doors with pins.
3. Move the platform to align the fork holes with the forklift
forks. Adjust the forks until they match the fork holes.
4. Move the forklift to insert the forks into the fork holes.
Secure the lever at the back of the platform.
5. Guide the chain through the brackets of the forklift while
keeping the other end of the chain fixed to the platform.
6. Load the necessary tools or equipment onto the
platform first. Once the necessary tools and equipment
are loaded, then the platform operator can enter the
platform and ensure that both the left and right doors
are securely closed.
7. Verify the points that must be secured. Secure any
points that appear loose.
8. The platform operator must inspect and wear safety
belt at all times.
9. Keep others away from the platform. The forklift driver
will position the truck to the appointed location and raise
the platform to the required height. All controls should
remain locked except the lifting lever. Driver should
never leave the forklift unattended when raised.
10. When work is completed, the platform operator
must inform the forklift driver to lower the platform.
Only then can the operator remove the safety belt,
accessory, tools, and devices to exit the platform
door. The forklift driver will draw back the forks from
the platform. Finally, fold the platform in reverse order
of the installation steps above.

ATTENTION
1. Platform and forklift operators must be trained and
authorized for platform use.
2. Work place lighting intensity should not be less than
500lx according to the CIE lighting standard.
3. Make sure there are no cables, steel rods, concrete pipe,
or other protrusions within the platform lifting area.
4. It is prohibited for anyone to stand or pass under
the platform.
5. The platform operator must work according to the
installation instructions above.
6. Verify forklift performance prior to use for safety.
7. When the platform is raised, it is prohibited to move the
forklift unless safety is ensured and both the platform
operator and company safety director agree to it.
