befOre use

• T ake the appliance and accessories out the box. Remove the stickers,
protective foil or plastic from the device.
• C onnect the power cable to the socket. Note: Make sure the voltage which is
indicated on the device matches the local voltage before connecting the device.
Voltage: 220-240V~ 50Hz.
• T he appliance can also use DC power by using 4 pcs. C/R14/UM2 size batteries into
the battery compartment (6). Make certain that the positive and negative (+ and -)
battery terminals are attached to the corresponding terminals on the plate in
the battery compartment.

• S witch the radio on by using the on/off- switch (9).
• U se the desired volume by using the volume control knob (2).
• U se the MW/FM/SW/LW switch (5) to choose the desired broad band.
• S elect the desired radio station by using the tuning button (4)

• M W/LW-bands use an internal directional antenna.
Turn the radio in the right direction for a good reception.
• M ake sure the FM-antenna (1) is fully extended for a good SW/FM-reception.

• T o connect an external device on the radio, you can use the aux-in jack (8).
• P ut the aux- in plug (not included) in the desired aux-in jack.
• S tart the music on the external device and adjust the volume by using
the volume control knob (2).
