6. Operation
1. Connect the device to the mains using the power cord.
2. Press the on-off button to switch on the device.
3. Switch off after use.
Remarks:
 There may be a smell after switching on the device for the first time or following long periods of non-use.
This is normal.

Cleaning and Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning
 Always disconnect the device from the mains and let it cool down completely prior to cleaning.
 Do not touch the heating element with bare fingers.
 Never immerse the device in water or any other liquid.
 Occasionally clean with a damp cloth to keep it looking new. Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents
or strong detergents.

 Any maintenance or repairs including replacing the bulb element should only be carried out by a qualified
technician.
