Installation
The W840 device is the ideal complement to the fishing radio-buoys
W800 / W810. It checks and manages the battery charge process of the
batteries contained in the W800 / W810 radio-buoys.
Its installation is very easy, just follow the below steps:
Identify a DC power source able to provide a DC voltage between

EN
9 and 30 Volt, with at least a current of 2 A.

Install a two-way switch for disconnecting the W840 equipment
when not in use. Although the W840 equipment has different
security systems, we recommend using a safety fuse of at least
2.5 A.
Connect the cable supplied with the W840 equipment (3 meters
•
of 2x 1.5 sq. mm cable) downstream of the two-way switch.
Connect the negative pole (blue wire) to the negative pole of the

DC power source.
Connect the positive pole (brown wire) to the positive pole of the
•
DC power source.
