The LX-GSM-01 also includes the indication of the contact list positions that have requested en-
abling of a certain type of alarm or notice in the confirmation SMS text messages. An SMS text
message can be sent with the text SH DISABLED to obtain the same effect as the SMS text message
SH OFF.
The LOW or HIGH alarm can be set, but not both at the same time. The system stores the last
programming carried out, overwriting the previous one.
The system has a hysteresis of +1°C/-2°C. For example, if we set an SH HIGH control threshold at
60°C the system signals the alarm at 61°C and considers it to have returned within range, reset-
ting itself for a new reading, when the temperature drops below 58°C.

This alarm is enabled from the factory for contact list position 11 and disabled for all the others.
11.2 GSM signal power remote control
If an SMS message with the text "SIGNAL" is sent the GSM module replies indicating the GSM
signal power received at the installation point with a value expressed from a minimum of 0 to a
maximum of 5.
11.3 Remote control of the provider and the installed firmware version
If an SMS message with the text NETWORK is sent the GSM module replies indicating the tele-
phone provider that the SIM is locked onto and the firmware version installed in the module
itself.
11.4 Residual credit check
If an SMS message is sent with the text CREDIT you can receive an SMS text message indicating
the residual credit. Nevertheless, depending on the provider and the installation area, this ser-
vice may be more or less effective, in some cases delayed or even non-functional. In these cases
we recommend checking residual credit by registering in the appropriate areas dedicated to this
service on the selected mobile telephone provider's website.
