G Operating instructions
1.
Safety Instructions
• The product is intended for private, non-commercial
use only.
• Keep the product out of reach of young children. Accidental
swallowing can lead to choking. Consult a doctor
immediately if you suspect that the product has been
swallowed.
• Protect the product from dirt, moisture and overheating, and
only use it in a dry environment.
• Do not use the product in the immediate vicinity of heaters
or other heat sources or in direct sunlight.
• Do not drop the product and do not expose it to any major
shocks.
• Do not attempt to service or repair the product yourself.
Leave any and all service work to qualified experts.
• Do not open the device or continue to operate it if it
becomes damaged.
• Dispose of packaging material immediately according to
locally applicable regulations.
• Do not modify the product in any way. Doing so voids the
warranty.
• Keep this product, as all electrical products, out of the reach
of children!
Note
• Under no circumstance does Hama GmbH & Co KG
accept liability for loss of data stored on data storage
media.
• To avoid unintentional data loss, you should regularly
make backup copies to more than one data medium.
• If you use the product over a very long period of time, it
is possible that data can no longer be read, written or
deleted.
Please refer to the operating instructions for your terminal
device.
Note – Android
• On Android devices, you can use a file manager app to
access the memory. If this app is not installed on your
terminal device, download a corresponding app from a
portal offering Android apps.
• If your device is host/OTG-capable and has the required
software version, but does not recognise the Hama
FlashPen, you may have to download and install an
additional plug-in app from a portal offering Android
apps.

Warning
• The Hama USB storage devices must never be
disconnected from the computer or notebook while data
is being transferred! Your data could be lost.
• Never use both the USB type A and the Micro-USB type B
plug at the same time.
2. Disconnecting
Safely remove the device by carrying out the required
procedure for your particular operating system.
If you do not do this, data may be lost!

Windows 10 / 8 / 7 / Vista / XP
Mac OS 9.x or higher
• microUSB Type B:
Android 4.0 or higher
4. Exclusion of Warranty
Hama GmbH & Co. KG assumes no liability and provides no
warranty for damage resulting from improper installation/
mounting, improper use of the product or from failure to
observe the operating instructions and/or safety notes.

Note on environmental protection:
After the implementation of the European Directive
2012/19/EU and 2006/66/EU in the national legal
