• Move the 3B LASER over the skin slowly and uniformly, and only activate it when it is in treatment position.
• Only apply creams or lotions after the laser treatment has been finished. Clean the laser beam outlet using 70 %
ethanol following each contact with skin and for each new patient.

Use

The 3B LASER is a low level laser system, which can be used in different for different applications (e. g. dermatology,
orthopaedics, sport physiotherapy, veterinary medicine) and is suitable for local area treatment and for treatment
of pain, trigger and acupuncture points.
The effect of laser light can be to reduce pain, inflammation and swelling, to heal tissue and to stimulate faulty bio-
logical processes. The objective of laser treatment is to accelerate the natural healing processes. Laser treatment can
often restart disturbed healing processes. For healthy persons the 3B®-LASER is used to optimise vitality, to increase
well-being, to strengthen resistance and as a measure towards preventing sicknesses.

Contraindications

The following contraindications are referred to in the laser literature:
Absolute:
• Irradiation of eyes
• Photosensitivity
• Tumour patients
• Open fontanelles and epiphyseal cartilage in children
• Thyroid gland hyperactivity
Relative:
• Pacemaker patients (thorax)
• Epilepsy(head)
• Pregnancy (stomach and back regions)
• Endocrine organs (Thyroid gland, testicles, ovaries)
Therapy hindrances:
• deep X-ray treatment
• permanent medication
• chemotherapy

Maintenance and Care

To ensure safe and hygienic operation, please observe the following:
• The laser beam outlet must be cleaned with a cotton swab using 70 % ethanol (medical alcohol) every time it
has come in contact with skin or for each new patient.
• Do not expose the unit to direct sunlight.
