11. Removal from service

Should the product be taken out of service (e.g. for cleaning, maintenance or storage for winter), then proceed as
follows:
• Pull the power plug from the mains socket.
Never lift or carry the product using the power cord! Otherwise the power cord may get damaged. Risk of
an electric shock!
• Disconnect the hoses from the product and dry them.
• Let the remaining water drain out of the product through the water outlet opening (11).
• Dry up the product. If required, clean the housing.
• During winter, keep the product in a dry space protected against frost, ideally in the original packaging.

12. Troubleshooting

Fault
Product does not work, display is
empty.
Pump draws in too little water or no
water at all.
Pump only runs for a short time.

Cause
No power.
Contaminated water.
Suction hose/pre-filter clogged.
Filter basket clogged.
Suction hose damaged.
Suction hose material too soft/thin.
Air inside the pump.
Suction hose not deep enough in
the water.
Suction port not sealed.
Product switches off automatically
due to overheating.
Water temperature >35 °C.
Motor damaged.
Solution
Check the power supply.
Disconnect plug from mains socket.
Wait 10 seconds and connect to
mains socket again.
Clean pre-filter.
Rinse suction hose with water,
clean pre-filter.
Rinse and clean the filter basket.
Replace suction hose.
Use harder/thicker suction hose.
Fill the product with water through
the water filler opening.
Suction valve must be at least
10 cm below the water surface.
Seal suction port with sealing tape.
Before switching on again: Clear
blockages and ensure sufficient
cooling.
Water temperature must be below
35 °C.
Product must be repaired by a
specialist.
