graduated at 50 m increments from 100 m to 300 m or from 300 m, in 25 m increments to maximum
600 m.
The 9 ballistic rings included with the ASV LongRange allow you to always remain on target at
distances of up to 400 m or 600 m. Rings are selected in the same way as rings are selected for the
ASV+.
For additional distances of over 400 m or 600 m, we are happy to calculate and engrave a ring for
the ASV LongRange in line with the load that you use, for an additional fee.
Depending on the load used, this ring can be used for distances of up to 1,000 m and more.
We require the following information for this:
1. Vo (initial velocity of the shot, measured at the muzzle of the weapon used).
The Vo value on the ammunition packaging is a measurement based on the standard muzzles by
the ammunition manufacturer and, in most cases, differs from the Vo calculated using the actual
muzzle used for the weapon in question.
and
2. BC value (ballistic co-efficient – on the ammunition packaging)
or:
1. Bullet drop at 300 m or 400 m, zeroing at 100 m
and
2. BC value (ballistic co-efficient – on the ammunition packaging)
