Before fi rst use
Remove the transport insert from the inserted battery.
Switching on
Place the scales onto a fl at surface and press
to weigh in grams.
Warning! If appears on the display after switching the scales on, the scales are not stable.
Switch the scales off , transfer them to a fl at surface and switch on again.
Weighing
Place a suitable container onto the scales, press
into the container; the display will show its weight. The display will show the weight of all ingre-
dients in total after adding each next ingredient.
Useful hint: Food of appropriate dimensions and consistency can be weighed directly on the glass
surface of the scales.
Tare feature
Leave the container with the fi rst ingredient to be weighed on the scales and press
the second ingredient into the container; the display will show its weight. You can further add
ingredients to weigh them in a single container up to the total permitted weight of 5 kg. When the
permitted capacity of the scales is exceeded, the display will show

of inactivity.

Battery replacement

Digital kitchen scales ACCURA come with an inserted 3V battery CR2032. As soon as the symbol of
a dead battery
high-quality lithium batteries CR2032. Remove the battery from the scales during periods of pro-
longed inactivity and store it separately. Do not discard used batteries and the product in domestic
waste – dispose of them at a recycling site.
Cleaning
Clean the glass weighing plate using an agent for glass; wipe the other parts with a moistened
dishcloth and dry. Do not use dishwashing soaps, aggressive chemicals, sand-based agents etc. to
clean. Do not wash the scales under running water! Do not wash in dishwasher!
Notice
When the permitted capacity is exceeded, the display of the scales will show
pens, remove the food from the scales and reduce weight – the total weight of food including the
container must not exceed 5 kg.
Do not expose the scales to steam, moisture and/or high temperatures. Do not place hot vessels or
food, chemicals etc. onto the glass weighing plate.
Do not use the scales near appliances producing an electromagnetic fi eld, such as a microwave
oven, mobile phone, etc. If the scales malfunction due to electromagnetic radiation, remove the
source of interference and switch the scales off and then on again.
3-year warranty
A 3-year warranty applies to this product from the date of purchase provided that it has been
constantly used in accordance with the Instructions for Use.
The warranty never covers defects:
- due to improper use incompatible with the Instructions for Use,
- resulting from an impact, fall or mishandling,
- due to unauthorised repairs of, or alterations to, the product.
