1. Product description
Natural hollows in decaying tree trunks are becoming increasingly rare. It is therefore
all the more important to provide birds with sheltered and dry birdhouses for nesting.
The birds will then build and insulate the nest using natural materials they find in the
area. But even these materials are becoming rare. In spring or summer, setup or hang
the bird house in a sheltered but sunny place in your garden and keep a safe distance
from humans and especially cats. It is wonderful to watch the bustle of the birds. A
great experience, especially for children.
2. Putting into Operation
1. Hang the birdhouse in a sunny, wind- and rain-protected location.
2. The front of the house should ideally point in southeast/east direction.
3. Please leave the house in the same place during winter, as birds might hibernate in it.
4. Please do NOT paint or varnish the house, otherwise birds will not use it.
Important warning when drilling in walls:
Before drilling, make sure that there are no gas, water or power lines located at the dril-
ling spot. Installation may only be done by competent persons. Please pay attention to
the condition and material of the wall as the included mounting material is not suitable
for all wall types. Please ask an expert for advice concerning suitable screws and dowels.
For improper mounting and resulting damages the manufacturer assumes no liability.
