No image on the second television
• Check that the transmitter and receiver are both switched on (green LED on both devices).
• Check that the connections have been made correctly.
• Check that the appliance that you want to see on the second television is on and working.
• Select the AV or EXT input on the second television.
• Position the double channel selector on the same combination on the transmitter and the receiver.
• Make sure that the receiver is not positioned beyond the maximum distance indoors of 20 metres from the
transmitter and that there are no more than 2/3 walls between the two devices.
• Make sure that the appliance that originates the signal is in composite video mode (PAL / CVBS) and not
in RGB.
• Make sure that the two aerials are facing each other (Fig. 6).
Poor picture or sound quality on the second television
• Move the receiver and transmitter aerials carefully until you get the best picture and sound.
• Move the double channel selector on a different combination on the transmitter and on the receiver.
• Change the position of the transmitter and the receiver until you get the best picture and sound.
You cannot control the appliances connected to the main television with the remote control
• Make sure that the transmitter is not too close to other audio/video appliances (DVD, decoder, VCR etc...).
• Make sure that you are using the remote control for the appliance that you want to control.
• Make sure that there are no obstacles between the remote control and the receiver and that the distance
between the two is less than 7 metres.
• Check that the remote control repeater is positioned correctly.
• Make sure that there are no other wireless appliances that could interfere with the remote control.
Only in case of connection as indicated in step T8: The image of the appliance connected to the SCART
of the AV 100 MINI transmitter cable is not displayed on the main television TV
• Check that the connections have been made correctly.
• Use the remote control of the main television to select the AV or EXT input.
Picture and sound quality can be affected by microwave ovens, mobile phones or other electronic
wireless systems or electromagnetic radiation. Moreover any metal items placed between the receiver
and transmitter could block the signal diffusion. The AV 100 MINI transmitter operates on the 5.8 GHz
band and therefore does not interfere with WI-FI 2.4 GHz or BLUETOOTH devices.
The signal that the transmitter sends to the receiver passes through walls and ceilings for a distance of
about 20 metres. Therefore anyone using the AV 100 MINI or a similar device (set to the same channel)
near the apartment could receive the same programmes you are watching (and vice versa) as the
transmission is not encrypted. In this case we recommend setting the channel selector to a different
channel on both the receiver and the transmitter.
Switch the transmitter and the receiver off when not in use.
Please note that the transmission of audio and video content is not encrypted and can be received by
another similar device close by.
