Trouble check
Symptom
The LR6 (size AA) batteries or the
battery pack is quickly discharged.
The date or time indicator displays
bars (--:--:--).
The beep sounds for 5 seconds.
Acoustic feedback (howling)
occurs.
Cause and/or Corrective Actions
• The ambient temperature is too low. (p. 27)
• The battery pack has not been charged fully.
m Charge the battery pack again. (p. 11)
• The LR6 (size AA) batteries or the battery pack is
completely dead, and the battery pack cannot be
recharged.
m Use new LR6 (size AA) batteries or another battery pack.

• Reset the date and time. (p. 25)
• Some trouble occurred in your camcorder.
m Turn off the camcorder once, and then turn on the
camcorder again.
m Change the power source.
• The camcorder is placed near the TV.
m Move the camcorder away from the TV.
m Turn down the volume of the TV.
