Safety notes

This device must not be used by children. The device and its

mains cable must be kept away from children.
This device may be used by persons with impaired physical,
■
sensory or mental abilities or who lack experience and/or knowl-
edge if they are supervised or have been instructed on how to
use the device safely and have understood risks arising from
using the device.
Children may not play with the device.

CAUTION! The blades are sharp! Handle the blade adapter
■
with care in order to prevent cut injuries.
If the device is not supervised, before assembling, disassem-
■
bling and cleaning the device, it must always be disconnected
from the mains.
Do not make any changes to the device. If the device is dam-
■
aged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or customer ser-
vice department or a similarly qualifi ed person (e.g. specialist
workshop) in order to avoid any hazards.
Do not make any changes to the device. The device must not
■
be used if the motor unit, the accessories, the mains cable or
plug exhibit visible damages. Do not attempt to repair the device
or replace the cable and/or plug yourself. Only have the device,
cable and plug repaired by a qualifi ed workshop! In the event of
damage, promptly contact the customer service department.

Dangers of Injury

■ Danger of suffocation! Keep the packaging material away from children and ani-
mals.
■ Burn hazard! Never fi ll the device with hot food or liquids! The content must not be
warmer than 50 °C.
■ Make sure that the connected mains cable does not present a trip hazard. Do not
allow the cable to hang over the edge of tables or kitchen counters. Others may be-
come caught and pull the device down.
