Auto Cueing (*)
When a disc is loaded, when track search is performed, and when the track is changed
with the JOG MODE set to CDJ, this function operates to automatically set the
cue point immediately before the actual start of music.
¶ Turning auto cueing on and off
Pressing the TIME MODE/AUTO CUE button and holding it down for a
second or more causes auto cueing to be alternately turned on and off.
When AUTO CUE is on, the [A. CUE] indicator will be lit up.
¶ AUTO CUE on/off status is stored in memory and persists even when the
power is turned off.
¶ It can change the Auto Cue level.
7 Changing the Auto Cue level
1. Press the TIME MODE/AUTO CUE button for over 5
seconds.
¶ The display will indicate [A.CUE-60dB] (in the original state).
2. By -pressing the WAVE SEARCH (ZOOM) button (2, 3)
you can change the level.
¶ It can choose from –36dB, –42dB, –48dB, –54dB, –60dB, –66dB, –72dB
and –78dB.
¶ The level change mode can be removed if you press the TIME MODE/
AUTO CUE button or wait 15 seconds.
¶ Even if you turn the power off, the set level will remain in memory.
Starting Playback
1. Insert a disc in the player.
This unit spins discs at high speeds to provide high performance. As a result,
disc loading takes a couple of seconds.
2. If auto cueing is on, press the PLAY/PAUSE button (3/8).
¶ Press the PLAY/PAUSE button only after the current time lights in the display.
The silent portion at the beginning of the displayed track will be skipped
and playback will begin instantaneously from the first bars of the track.
Once the first track has been played, the player will automatically search for
the beginning of the next track to be played. The cueing indicator [CUE] will
light up, the PLAY/PAUSE button[3/8] indicator will flash, and the player
will then wait for the PLAY/PAUSE button (3/8) to be pressed before begin-
ning playback of the next track.
3. If auto cueing is off, playback will begin automatically
from the first track.
¶ When auto cueing is off, playback will continue after the first track has
been played, with all subsequent tracks being played in sequence.
¶ When playback of the final track is complete, playback will automatically
come to an end.

Repérage automatique (*)
Lorsqu'un disque est installé, quand la recherche de plage est effectuée et quand la
plage est changée alors que le JOG MODE est réglé sur CDJ, cette fonction agit
pour poser automatiquement le point de repérage immédiatement avant le début
réel de la musique.

¶ Activation et désactivation du repérage automatique
Appuyez sur la touche TIME MODE/AUTO CUE et maintenez-la enfoncée
pendant une seconde au moins pour activer et désactiver successivement le
repérage automatique.
Quand le repérage automatique est activé, le témoin de repérage automatique
[A.CUE] brille.
¶ La mise en/hors service du Repérage automatique est mémorisée et elle est
conservée, même si l'appareil est mis hors tension.
¶ La fonction permet de changer le niveau de Repérage automatique.
7 Changement du niveau de Repérage automatique
1. Appuyez sur le bouton TIME MODE/AUTO CUE pendant
plus de 5 secondes.
¶ L'affichage indique [A.CUE-60dB] (à l'état original).
2. En appuyant sur le bouton WAVE SEARCH (ZOOM) (2,
3), le niveau peut être changé.
¶ On peut choisir entre: –36dB, –42dB, –48dB, –54dB, –60dB, –66dB,
–72dB et –78dB.
¶ Le mode de changement de niveau peut être annulé par une pression sur le
bouton TIME MODE/AUTO CUE ou en attendant 15 secondes.
¶ Le niveau défini reste mémorisé, même si l'appareil est mis hors tension.
Lancement de la lecture
1. Insérez un disque dans le lecteur.
Pour assurer de hautes performances, cet appareil fait tourner les disques à
haute vitesse. Par conséquent, le chargement du disque prend quelques secondes.
2. Si le repérage automatique est activé, appuyez sur la
touche PLAY/PAUSE (3/8).
¶ Appuyez sur le bouton PLAY/PAUSE seulement après que le voyant de
l'heure s'est allumé sur l'affichage. Les silences du début de la plage affichée
sont sautés et la lecture commence instantanément à partir des premières
barres de la plage.
Quand la lecture de la première plage est terminée, l'appareil recherche
automatiquement le début de la plage suivante à lire. Le témoin de repérage
[CUE] brille, le témoin de la touche PLAY/PAUSE [3/8] clignote et le lecteur
attend que vous appuyiez sur la touche PLAY/PAUSE (3/8) pour poursuivre
la lecture de la plage suivante.
3. Si le repérage automatique est désactivé, la lecture
commence automatiquement à partir de la première
plage.
¶ Quand le repérage automatique est désactivé, l'appareil poursuit la lecture
de chaque plage successive après la fin de la première plage.
¶ A la fin de la dernière plage, la lecture s'arrête automatiquement.
