1. Safety instructions:

Cooper Crouse-Hinds (CCH)/ CEAG or

Only the type STABEX HF-L lamp
may be charged by means of this

operating instructions)!
Non-rechargeable batteries (dry
batteries) must not be put in the
charger!
Prior to opening the charger, pull
the mains plug!
Prior to putting the charger into
service, check its correct functioning
and perfect condition in accordance
with these operating instructions
and other applicable regulations!
2. Conformity with standards:
This charger meets the requirements of DIN
EN 60335-1 and of the EC directive on
"Electromagnetic compatibility" (2004/108/EC).
The charger has been designed,
manufactured and tested according to the
state of the art and to DIN EN ISO 9001.
This charger is suitable for use in protected
and dry locations.

4. Description and application
The charger serves for charging and storing
the STABEX HF-L handle (also see STABEX
HF-L operating instructions).
It is fitted with an apx. 1.5 m long mains
connecting lead with mains plug. On the back
of the charger there are three drilled holes
which can be used for fastening the charger
(see attached drilling template).
Charging the battery inserts:
The battery insert may be
charged outside of hazardous
areas only!
1. Detach the battery insert (torch handle)
from the lamp.
2. Put the handle into the respective socket in
the charger. Right-hand charging socket:
Insert and lock by a turn to the left.
Left-hand charging socket: Insert and lock
by a turn to the right.
3. The flowing charging current is indicated by
the light emitting diodes on that side where
the handle is inserted.
4. After a recharge period of approx. 14 h, the
charger will automatically switch over to
trickle charge.
