INSTALLING OR REMOVING THE BATTERY PACK
(FIG 2)
• To install the battery pack, insert the battery pack (5) from the bottom of the
tool all the way until it locks in place with a click, as shown in fIG 2.
• To remove the battery pack, slide the battery locking tab (6) to the left as
shown in fIG 2, to release the battery pack, then pull the battery pack out.
CHARGING THE BATTERY (FIG 3)
NOTE:
Always Check that the power supply corresponds to the voltage on
the ratings plate.
• Connect the charging adaptor (8) and the charging stand (7).
• Plug the adaptor into a 120 Volt AC power source. The GReeN light on the
charging stand will illuminate, indicating the charger is powered.
• Insert the battery (5) all the way into the charging stand until it locks in place
with a click, as shown in fIG 3. The ReD light on the stand indicates that the
battery is charging.
• The light will turn GReeN after charging is complete.
• To remove the battery from the stand, depress the locking tab on the stand
to release the battery pack. See fIG 3.
• Batteries may become warm while charging. This is normal.
• If battery is hot after continuous use in the tool, allow it to cool down to room
temperature before charging. This will extend the life of your batteries.
NOTE:
It takes approximately 3-5 hours to charge up a completely
discharged battery.
SWITCH ACTION (FIG 4)
Your rotary tool has a switch with speed dial (4).
To Turn On the
Tool, rotate the switch clockwise until you hear a click.
The tool will be on its lowest speed. Continue rotating the switch clockwise to
increase the speed. There are numbers printed on the speed dial. The larger
the number is, the higher speed the tool is on. See fIG 4.
To Turn Off the
Tool, rotate the switch counter-clockwise until you hear
a click.

OVERLOAD PROTECTION

Your tool is equipped with an overload protection circuit to protect the motor and battery in the event of a stall.
When the tool is stalled, it will automatically turn itself off. If this happens, remove the tool from the work piece,
turn off the tool, wait for a few seconds, then turn it on and continue using it. Sometimes, when the battery is low,
the tool may shut down automatically more often. This indicates it is time to recharge the battery.
COLLETS (FIG 5)
WARNING:
adding accessories, or checking a function on the tool.
Select Collet Size: This tool comes with 3 different sizes of collets: 1/8", 3/32" and 1/16" to accommodate
different shank sizes. Always use the collet which matches the accessory shaft size. Never force a larger
diameter shaft into a collet.
To install a different collet, remove the collet nut and pull the old collet
out. Insert the new collet in. Replace the collet nut on the shaft. (See
fIG 5)
INSTALLING AND REMOVING ACCESSORIES
1. Switch off the tool.
2. Depress the shaft lock firmly and rotate the shaft by hand until the
lock engages, preventing further rotation of the shaft.
3. With the shaft lock engaged, loosen the collet nut by rotating it in a
counterclockwise direction.
Always be sure that the tool is switched off before adjusting,
