8-Sheet Cross Cut Paper Shredder
Déchiqueteuse à coupe croisée 8 feuilles

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

Problem Encoutered
1
After finishing normal
shredding, it continues
to run.
2
Paper feed or positive
rotation is normal,
but there is still some
scrapped paper
hanging at the exit.
3
Feeding paper follows
withdrawing paper.
4
Some paper is in the
entry, but shredder
does not work.
5
The paper is jammed,
and the machine stops
rotating.
6
The machine doesn't
start after inserting a
sheet of paper, or stop
running when paper is
being inserted.
Cause
There is too much
scrapped paper in the
wastebasket, blocking any
more paper.
The slots of the blades
clamp the scrapped paper.
Some scrapped paper
has locked the automatic
inductive device.
After feeding paper, one
corner of the paper is
inserted, but the rest
doesn't touch automatic
inductive device.
1. The number of inserted
sheets is larger than the
specified limitation
2. Locked rotor overheats
the motor and the
temperature protection
set takes action.
The paper is too thin,
too soft, or too crinkly
to activate automatic
inductive device.
Resolution
1. Turn off the power, and
empty the wastebasket.
2. Turn off the power, and
press the scrapped
paper down further
away from the machine
head.
Set the slide switch to
'REV'
(if possible, clean the
scrapped paper at the
exit).
Set the slide switch to
'REV'.
Change the position of
the feeding paper and
ensure it is touching
the automatic inductive
device.
1. Set the slide switch to
'REV' and withdraw the
shredding paper.
2. Unplug the shredder
and let the machine
rest for a while.
1. Fold the paper and then
insert it.
2. Set the slide switch to
'REV'.
