Introduction
These instructions must be used in con-
junction with the instructions for the door
drive. Carefully read and implement all
instructions prior to installation and oper-
ation.
Intended application
Intended use
The light barrier is used as an additional
safety device for operating an „Ultra",
„Ultra excellent", „Ultra excellent quick"
or „Magic" door drive.
Any other use is deemed improper. The
manufacturer accepts no liability for
damage resulting from such use.

Safety
It is vital that all the instructions
are followed carefully to ensure per-
sonal safety. Please keep the instruc-
tions to hand for future reference.
Remove the mains plug before
working on the door drive.

Installation

Drill connecting holes in the
frames.
The connecting holes must be of
equal height.
Fix the connecting plates (1.4) to
the connecting angles (4).

Fix the connecting angle (4) to the
frames.

Slide the transmitter (1.1) and re-
ceiver (1.2) onto the connecting
plate (1.4).
Remove the mains plug of the
door drive.

Connect stranded conductors (2)
and (3) to the transmitter (Tx) and
receiver (Rx) according to the wir-
ing diagram enclosed. Attach the
cable to the wall and ceiling and
plug in the Western plug on the
door drive.
Adjust the light barrier
Plug in the mains plug of the door
drive. The green LED display on
the transmitter (1.1) must be illumi-
nated.
Do not look at the infrared beam
on the light barrier as this may dam-
age the retina.

Point the transmitter (1.1) towards
the receiver (1.2):

Turn the screw marked „ORIZ" to
adjust the horizontal position; turn
the screw marked „VERT" to adjust
the vertical position.
Screw the cover onto the transmit-
ter and receiver, and remove pro-
tective film.

Interrupt the infrared beam several

Operate the door drive using the
hand-held transmitter or wall
switch.

The light barrier does not work dur-
ing opening. On closing, the door drive
must stop as soon as the light beam is
interrupted. The closing procedure can-
not be activated with an interrupted light
beam.
Disposal
The national and local regulations and
statutes for disposal are to be followed.
