OPERATION - General
The appliance is intended only for domestic use, not for professional use.

OPERATION - Before first use
1. Remove the packaging.
2. Clean all the accessories to remove any residues that may be left from the manufacturing process (see
"Cleaning and maintenance").
3. Plug in the power cord and allow the fondue pan to heat for 15 minutes under constant supervision.
This way you remove any packaging odor from the device.
WARNING:
The appliance may emit a little smoke and a characteristic smell when you switch it on for the first time.
This is normal, and will soon stop. Make sure the appliance has sufficient ventilation.

OPERATION - Use

The adjustable thermostat makes the fondue set suitable for meat fondue (with oil), eastern fondue (with
broth), fish fondue, cheese fondue and chocolate fondue.
Types of fondue:
Meat fondue: meat is dipped in boiling hot oil (sometimes broth). All kinds of sauces are served with it.
Eastern fondue: meat or vegetables are dipped in broth.
Fish fondue: pieces of fish are dipped in fish broth.
Cheese fondue: pieces of vegetables, bread, meat and fish are dipped in melted cheese.
Chocolate fondue: pieces of cake and fruit are dipped in melted chocolate.
Tip: Place a plate, placemat or other protection under the fondue set.
