Thank you for purchasing the Wide Converter Kit ZCW-100.

When attached to a DiMAGE Z1 digital camera, the effective focal
length is 0.75X of that of the camera lens, or a coverage approxi-
mately equal to a 28 mm lens on a 35 mm camera. Please take the time
to read through this instruction manual to get the best results from this
product.
FOR PROPER AND SAFE USE
Read and understand all warnings and cautions before using this product.
Store this product out of reach of children. Be careful when around chil-
dren, not to harm them with the product or parts.
Do not look at the sun or strong light sources directly through the lens. It
may damage your eyesight or cause blindness.
ATTACHING THE LENS
Only use this product with compatible cameras. Do not use excessive
force when attaching.
1. Securely screw the adapter ring clockwise into the lens
housing shown in illustration A.
2. Remove the rear cap from the wide converter (B).
3. Securely screw the converter clockwise into the adapter
ring (C).
4. Remove the front cap from the converter (D).
SHOOTING NOTES
• Following the camera instruction manual, select the wide converter set-
ting in the lens accessory option on the camera's setup menu. The
focal length will be automatically set to the wide-angle setting. Zoom or
Super Macro will be disabled.
• If the wide converter is not set on the menu, image quality will deterio-
rate when using a focal length other than at the wide-angle position.
• Shadowing occurs with the built in flash. We recommend you use
optional Program/Maxxum flashes specified in the camera manual.
FILTER
A 52 mm filter can be attached to the front of the adapter ring.
• The filter cannot be used with the wide converter.
• Vignetting may occur with an 8 mm (0.3 inch) or thicker filter ring, or
when more than one filter is attached.
• When using the built-in flash, shadowing may become prominent with
a subject closer than 60 cm (2 ft.).
CARE AND STORAGE
• Never touch the lens surface with your fingers.
• If the lens barrel is dirty, wipe it gently with a soft, clean, dry cloth. If
the lens comes in contact with sand, gently blow away loose particles -
wiping may scratch the surface.
• To clean the lens surface, first brush away any dust or sand then, gen-
tly wipe the lens in a circular motion, starting from the center with a
cloth or tissue designed for optics. Use lens cleaning fluid if necessary.
• Never place lens fluid directly on the lens.
• Never use organic solvents to clean the lens.
• When not in use, keep the lens capped and in its case.
• Store your lens in a well-ventilated area away from dust, heat, humidi-
ty, and harmful chemicals or vapors.
• Do not disassemble. For all service and repairs, contact an authorized
Minolta service facility.

lar ZCW-100. Cuando se instala en una cámara digital DiMAGE
Z1, la distancia focal efectiva es de 0,75X del objetivo de la
cámara o un alcance que es aproximadamente igual a un objetivo de 28
mm en una cámara de 35 mm. Dedique tiempo para leer este manual de
instrucciones para obtener los mejores resultados de este producto.

ADVERTENCIA
Guarde este producto lejos del alcance de los niños. Tenga cuidado

No mire hacia el sol o una fuente de luz fuerte directamente por el obje-
tivo. Puede dañar su visión o provocar ceguera.
INSTALACION DEL OBJETIVO
Sólo utilice este producto con cámaras compatibles. No utilice fuerza
excesiva para su instalación.
1. Atornille firmemente el aro adaptador en sentido horario
en la caja del objetivo que aparece en la figura (A).
2. Desmonte la tapa trasera del convertidor gran angular (B).
3. Atornille firmemente el convertidor en sentido horario en
el aro adaptador (C).
4. Desmonte la tapa delantera del convertidor (D).
NOTAS PARA LA FOTOGRAFIA
• De acuerdo con el manual de instrucciones de la cámara, seleccione
el ajuste de convertidor gran angular en la opción de objetivo acceso-
rio en el menú de configuración de la cámara. La distancia focal se
ajustará automáticamente al ajuste gran angular. Se desactiva el zoom
o super macro.
• Si no se ajustó el convertidor gran angular en el menú, se deteriorará
la calidad de la imagen cuando se utiliza otra distancia focal que no
sea la posición gran angular.
• Se producen sombras en el flash integrado. Se recomienda utilizar
flashes Program/Maxxum opcionales especificados en el manual de la
cámara.
FILTRO
Puede instalar un filtro de 52 mm en el frente del aro adaptador.
• El filtro no puede utilizarse con un convertidor gran angular.
• Puede producir viñetado con un aro de filtro de 8 mm o más grueso, o
cuando se instala más de un filtro.
• Cuando utilice el flash integrado, las sombras pueden volverse más
visibles cuando el sujeto está a menos de 60 cm.
CUIDADO Y GUARDADO
• Nunca toque la superficie del objetivo con sus dedos.
• Si el cilindro del objetivo está sucio, frote suavemente con un paño
suave, limpio y seco. Si el objetivo entra en contacto con arena, sople
suavemente las partículas flojas - si lo frota puede rayar la superficie.
• Para limpiar la superficie del objetivo, primero cepille el polvo o arena
y limpie suavemente el objetivo con un movimiento circular, empezan-
do por el centro, con un paño o tisú diseñado para ópticas. Utilice un
fluido de limpieza de lentes si fuera necesario.
• Nunca ponga directamente el fluido de lentes sobre el objetivo.
• Nunca utilice disolventes orgánicos para limpiar el objetivo.
• Cuando no lo utiliza, cierre la tapa del objetivo y colóquelo en su caja.
• Guarde su objetivo en un lugar bien ventilado, lejos del polvo, calor,
humedad y químicos o vapores peligrosos.
• No desarme. Para todo servicio y reparación, llame a un taller de ser-
vicio autorizado de Minolta.
