1. Bevor Sie mit dem Gerät arbeiten
• Lesen Sie sich bitte die Bedienungsanleitung genau durch.
• Durch die Beachtung der Bedienungsanleitung vermeiden Sie auch Beschädigungen des Gerä-
tes und die Gefährdung Ihrer gesetzlichen Mängelrechte durch Fehlgebrauch.
• Für Schäden, die aus Nichtbeachtung dieser Bedienungsanleitung verursacht werden, über-
nehmen wir keine Haftung. Ebenso haften wir nicht für inkorrekte Messwerte und Folgen, die
sich aus solchen ergeben können.
• Beachten Sie besonders die Sicherheitshinweise!
• Bewahren Sie diese Bedienungsanleitung gut auf!

3. Zu Ihrer Sicherheit
• Das Produkt ist ausschließlich für den oben beschriebenen Einsatzbereich geeignet. Verwenden
Sie das Produkt nicht anders, als in dieser Anleitung dargestellt wird.
• Das eigenmächtige Reparieren, Umbauen oder Verändern des Gerätes ist nicht gestattet.
Vorsicht!
Verletzungsgefahr!
• Bewahren Sie das Gerät und die Batterie außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern auf.
• Batterien enthalten gesundheitsschädliche Säuren und können bei Verschlucken lebensgefährlich
sein. Wurde eine Batterie verschluckt, kann dies innerhalb von 2 Stunden zu schweren inneren
Verätzungen und zum Tode führen. Wenn Sie vermuten, eine Batterie könnte verschluckt oder
anderweitig in den Körper gelangt sein, nehmen Sie sofort medizinische Hilfe in Anspruch.
• Batterien nicht ins Feuer werfen, kurzschließen, auseinandernehmen oder aufladen. Explosionsge-
fahr!
• Um ein Auslaufen der Batterien zu vermeiden, sollten schwache Batterien möglichst schnell aus-
getauscht werden.
• Beim Hantieren mit ausgelaufenen Batterien chemikalienbeständige Schutzhandschuhe und
Schutzbrille tragen!
Wichtige Hinweise zur Produktsicherheit!
• Setzen Sie das Gerät keinen extremen Temperaturen, Vibrationen und Erschütterungen aus.
• Suchen Sie einen niederschlagsgeschützten Platz für das Thermometer aus. Ständige Nässe bela-
stet die elektronischen Bauteile unnötig.
• Vermeiden Sie direkte Sonneneinstrahlung: Diese verfälscht die angezeigten Werte und kann dazu
führen, dass bei extrem hohen Temperaturen das Display beschädigt wird oder bei dauerhafter
Sonneneinstrahlung die Flüssigkristalle ausbleichen können.
• Wichtiger Hinweis für die Benutzung als Fensterthermometer: Aufgrund der Wärmeabstrahlung
(je nach Isolierung) bzw. der geschützten Lage Ihres Fensters kann die auf Ihrem VISTA angezeig-
te Temperatur höher sein als die Außentemperatur in freier, ungeschützter Lage direkt über dem
Boden.
4. Anbringung
• Als Fensterthermometer: Befestigen Sie den Halter mit beiliegender Selbstklebefolie außen am
Fenster. Fensterscheibe bitte vorher reinigen (ohne Reinigungsmittel)!
• Als Innenthermometer: Befestigen Sie den Halter mit beiliegender Selbstklebefolie direkt am
gewünschten Platz.
• Das Gerät lässt sich nun ganz einfach ein- und aushängen.
5. Bedienung
• Entfernen Sie den Halter. Ziehen Sie die transparente Schutzkappe vom Display. Nehmen Sie das
LCD-Modul vorsichtig aus dem Gehäuse heraus, indem Sie es an der linken und rechten Seite
festhalten. Vorsicht: Nicht direkt auf das Display fassen! Das Display und den Sensor nicht
knicken oder daran ziehen.
• Entfernen Sie den Batterieunterbrecherstreifen. Ziehen Sie die Schutzfolie vom Display ab. Das
Gerät ist jetzt betriebsbereit.
• Das obere Display zeigt Ihnen die aktuelle Temperatur, das untere Display die Höchst- (MAX) und
Tiefsttemperatur (MIN) an.
• Die Maxima- und Minimawerte werden täglich automatisch zurückgestellt: Die Höchsttemperatur
um 8 Uhr morgens und die Tiefsttemperatur um 20 Uhr abends. Dafür müssen Sie die aktuelle
Uhrzeit einstellen:
• Durch Drücken des MODE-Knopfes gelangen Sie in den Einstellmodus. Stellen Sie mit dem "+"-
Knopf die gewünschten Stunden ein. Für einen Schnelldurchlauf halten Sie den Knopf gedrückt.
Drücken Sie nochmals den MODE-Knopf und stellen Sie auf gleiche Weise die Minuten ein. Durch
Drücken der MODE-Taste kehren Sie in den Normalmodus zurück.
• Wählen Sie mit dem Schalter IN/OUT den Betrieb als Fenster- (OUT) oder Innenthermometer (IN).
• Wenn Sie alle Einstellungen vorgenommen haben, stecken Sie das LCD-Modul zurück in das
Gehäuse und setzen die transparente Schutzkappe wieder auf.
6. Pflege und Wartung
• Reinigen Sie das Gerät mit einem weichen, leicht feuchten Tuch. Keine Scheuer- oder Lösungsmit-
tel verwenden!
• Entfernen Sie die Batterie, wenn Sie die Geräte längere Zeit nicht verwenden.
• Bewahren Sie Ihr Gerät an einem trockenen Platz auf.
6.1 Batteriewechsel
• Tauschen Sie die Batterie aus, wenn die Anzeige schwächer wird.
• Führen Sie einen Schraubenzieher durch die rechteckige Öffnung und schieben Sie die Batterie
vorsichtig nach links und tauschen sie aus, +-Seite nach oben. Bitte achten Sie darauf, die Batterie
vollständig einzulegen und dabei die Leiterplatte nicht zu beschädigen.

1. Before you use this product
• Please make sure you read the instruction manual carefully.
• Following and respecting the instructions in your manual will prevent damage to your instru-
ment and loss of your statutory rights arising from defects due to incorrect use.
• We shall not be liable for any damage occurring as a result of non following of these instruc-
tions. Likewise, we take no responsibility for any incorrect readings or for any consequences
resulting from them.
• Please take particular note of the safety advice!

3. For your safety
• This product is exclusively intended for the range of application described above. It should only be
used as described within these instructions.
• Unauthorized repairs, alterations or changes to the product are prohibited.
Caution!
Risk of injury!
• Keep this device and the battery out of reach of children.
• Batteries contain harmful acids and may be hazardous if swallowed. If a battery is swallowed, this
can lead to serious internal burns and death within two hours. If you suspect a battery could have
been swallowed or otherwise caught in the body, seek medical help immediately.
• Batteries must not be thrown into a fire, short-circuited, taken apart or recharged. Risk of explosion!
• Low batteries should be changed as soon as possible to prevent damage caused by leaking.
• Wear chemical-resistant protective gloves and safety glasses when handling leaking batteries.
Important information on product safety!
• Do not expose your device to extreme temperatures, vibrations or shocks.
• Choose a preferably dry position for the thermometer. Continuous humidity strains the electronic
components needlessly.
• Avoid direct sunshine: It falsifies the indicated values! Extremely high temperatures may lead to
damages of the display. Permanent sunshine may bleach the liquid crystals.
• Important note for the use as a window thermometer: Due to the heat emission (depending on
isolation) and the protected location of your window it is possible that the temperature displayed
on your VISTA is higher than the outdoor temperature at a free unsheltered location directly over
the ground.
4. Installation
• Window thermometer use: Fix the holder with the enclosed adhesive outside at the window.
Please clean the window glass before (without cleaning agent).
• Indoor thermometer use: Fix the holder with the enclosed adhesive at your desired location.
• Now you can hang up and demount the thermometer very easily.
5. Operation
• Remove the holder. Pull off the transparent cover from the display. Take the LCD carefully out of
the casing by holding the left and right side of the module. Attention: Do not touch the display
directly. Do not pull or bend the display and the sensor.
• Remove the battery safety strip. Remove the protective film from the display. The unit is now
ready to use.
• The upper display shows the current temperature, the lower display the maximum (MAX) and
minimum (MIN) temperatures.
• There is an automatic update of maximum temperature at 8:00 and minimum temperature at
20:00. Therefore the current time must be set.
• Press the MODE button to enter setting mode. Set the hours by pressing the "+" button. Hold and
press the button for a fast count. Press the MODE button again to set minutes in the same way. To
go back to normal mode press the MODE button once more.
• Choose by the IN/OUT switch the operation as a window thermometer (OUT) or indoor thermometer
(IN).
• When all settings are made put the LCD carefully back in the casing and replace the transparent
cover.
6. Care and maintenance
• Clean the device with a soft damp cloth. Do not use solvents or scouring agents.
• Remove the battery if you do not use the devices for a long period of time.
• Keep the device in a dry place.
6.1 Battery replacement
• Replace the battery when the display becomes weak.
• Put a screw driver in the rectangular opening and push out the battery carefully. Change the bat-
tery (+-side facing up). Please pay attention to insert the battery completely and not to damage the
circuit board.

If your device fails to work despite these measures contact the retailer where you purchased the product.
8. Waste disposal
This product has been manufactured using high-grade materials and components which can be re-
cycled and reused.
Never dispose of empty batteries and rechargeable batteries with ordinary household
waste. As a consumer, you are required by law to take them to your retail store or to
an appropriate collection site depending on national or local regulations in order to
protect the environment.
The symbols for the contained heavy metals are:

This product is labelled in accordance with the EU Waste Electrical and Electronic
Equipment Directive (WEEE).
Please do not dispose of this product in ordinary household waste. As a consumer,
you are required to take end-of-life devices to a designated collection point for the

compatible disposal.

3. Pour votre sécurité
• Le produit est destiné uniquement à l'utilisation décrite ci-dessus. N'utilisez jamais l'appareil à
d'autres fins que celles décrites dans le présent mode d'emploi.
• Vous ne devez en aucun cas réparer, démonter ou modifier l'appareil par vous-même.

• Gardez votre appareil et la pile hors de la portée des enfants.
• Les piles contiennent des acides nocifs pour la santé et peuvent être mortelles dans le cas d'une
ingestion. Si une pile a été avalée, elle peut entraîner des brûlures internes graves ainsi que la
mort dans l'espace de 2 heures. Si vous craignez qu'une pile ait pu être avalée ou ingérée d'une
autre manière, quelle qu'elle soit, contactez immédiatement un médecin d'urgence.
• Ne jetez jamais de piles dans le feu, ne les court-circuitez pas, ne les démontez pas et ne les
rechargez pas. Risque d'explosion !
• Une pile faible doit être remplacée le plus rapidement possible afin d'éviter toute fuite.
• Pour manipuler des piles qui ont coulé, utilisez des gants de protection chimique spécialement
adaptés et portez des lunettes de protection !
Conseils importants de sécurité du produit !
• Évitez d'exposer l'appareil à des températures extrêmes, à des vibrations ou à des chocs.
• Choisir un emplacement protégé de la pluie. Une humidité constante surcharge les composants élec-
troniques inutilement.
• Évitez l'ensoleillement direct, il fausse les valeurs indiquées. Par cela durant des températures extrê-
mement hautes l'affichage peut être endommagé ou les cristaux liquides peuvent décolorer à cause
d'un ensoleillement permanent.
• Remarque importante pour l'emploi comme thermomètre de fenêtre : En raison de la dissipation
thermique (en dépendance de l'isolation) respectivement la position protégée de votre fenêtre la
température indiquée sur votre VISTA peut être plus élevée que la température extérieure en position
libre et dégagée directement au-dessus du sol.
4. Fixation
• Usage comme thermomètre de fenêtre : Fixer le support du thermomètre à l'extérieur de la
fenêtre à l'aide de l'adhésive. Veuillez nettoyer la fenêtre en avance (sans détergent).
• Usage comme thermomètre intérieur : Fixer le support du thermomètre directement à la location
désirée à l'aide de l'adhésive.
• L'appareil peut être accroché et décroché facilement.
5. Utilisation
• Enlever le support. Eloigner le capot de protection transparent. Enlever le module LCD timidement
du boîtier en le tenant à la gauche et à la droite. Attention : Ne pas toucher l'écran. Ne pas plier ou
tirer sur l'écran ou le senseur.
• Enlever la bande d´interruption de la pile. Tirer la feuille de protection de l´affichage. L'instrument
est maintenant prêt à fonctionner.
• L´affichage supérieur vous indique la température momentanée, l´affichage inférieur la températu-
re maximale (MAX) et minimale (MIN).
• Les valeurs maximales et minimales sont mises en arrière automatiquement : la température
maximale à 8 H le matin et la température minimale à 8 H le soir. Pour cela il faut mettre l'heure
actuelle.
• Appuyez sur la touche MODE pour arriver au mode de réglage. Vous pouvez entrer l'heure avec la
touche "+". Si vous maintenez la touche appuyée, la valeur augmentera plus vite. Presser encore
une fois la touche MODE pour régler les minutes de la même manière. En pressant la touche
MODE une troisième fois le mode normal apparaît.
• Avec l'interrupteur IN/OUT on peut ajuster l'usage comme thermomètre de fenêtre (OUT) ou ther-
momètre intérieur (IN).
• Si vous avez fait tous les réglages, remettre le module LCD dans le boîtier et placer le capot de
protection transparent.
6. Entretien et maintenance
• Pour le nettoyage de l'appareil, utilisez un chiffon doux et humide. N'utilisez pas de solvants ou
d'agents abrasifs !
• Enlevez la pile si vous n'utilisez pas vos appareils pendant une durée prolongée.
• Conservez votre appareil dans un endroit sec.
6.1 Remplacement de la pile
• Veuillez échanger la pile si l'affichage devient faible.
• Mettez un tournevis par l'aperture rectangulaire, poussez la pile en dehors et l'échangez, +-pôle en
haut. Veuillez faire attention pour que la pile est insérée complètement et la carte de circuits impri-
més ne soit pas endommagée.

Si votre appareil ne fonctionne toujours pas malgré ces mesures, adressez-vous au vendeur chez qui
vous l'avez acheté.
8. Traitement des déchets
Ce produit a été fabriqué avec des matériaux de haute qualité qui peuvent être recyclés et réutilisés.
Les piles usagées ne doivent pas être jetées dans les détritus ménagers.
En tant qu'utilisateur, vous avez l'obligation légale de rapporter les piles et piles
rechargeables usagées à votre revendeur ou de les déposer dans une déchetterie
proche de votre domicile conformément à la réglementation nationale et locale.
Les métaux lourds sont désignés comme suit :
Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercure, Pb = plomb.
Cet appareil est conforme aux normes de l'UE relatives au traitement des déchets
électriques et électroniques (WEEE).
L'appareil usagé ne doit pas être jeté dans les ordures ménagères. L'utilisateur s'en-
gage, pour le respect de l'environnement, à déposer l'appareil usagé dans un centre
de traitement agréé pour les déchets électriques et électroniques.
