GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Please read these instructions carefully, which includes important information
about the installation, usage and maintenance.
• Caution !
The plug-in power supply unit is supplied with hazardous mains
voltage (230V~). Leave servicing to skilled personnel only.
Inexpert handling may cause an electric shock hazard.
• Important : Always disconnect from the mains, when the device is not in use or
before cleaning it or before attempting any maintenance work.
• This unit is for indoor use only ; do not expose this appliance to rain or moisture.
Protect the unit against humidity and heat (permissible operating temperature range 10-40°C).
• Protect the unit against choc.
• Prevent use in dusty environments and clean the unit regularly.
• The frequently power ON and OFF of the device can damage it.
• Do not manipulate the device or the power supply adaptor if you have wet hands.
• Do not place any vessel filled with liquid, e.g. a drinking glass, on the unit.
• Do not set the antenna to operation and immediately disconnect the plug-in power supply from
the mains if:
1. damage at the plug-in power supply or the receiver is visible,
2. a defect might have occurred after a drop or similar accident,
3. there are malfunctions
• The unit must in any case be repaired by skilled personnel.
• Never disconnect the device by pulling directly the cable of the power supply adaptor.
• Any power supply adaptor damaged must be replaced.
• For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth, never chemicals or water.
• For safety reasons never modify the inside of the device.
• We will not accept liability for any resulting damages caused by the non-observance of this
manual or any unauthorized modification to the device.
• Make sure that children wil not use the device.
• Use the original carton box to transport the device.
