SOLUBLOC PUMP
Single-phase pump terminal board
▪ In the event of a three-phase motor: make sure the motor is revolving clockwise (looking at the fan - see the arrow
on the top of the fan).
▪ Neither the motor nor any of the live parts must come into contact with water.
▪ Make sure the electrical wires are sheathed.
▪ Check the correct positioning of the cable at the terminal board input in order to avoid any water seeping in through
the wire passage.

3.2 HYDRAULIC SYSTEM

▪ Connect the pump to the hydraulic circuit using the couplings provided.
▪ To connect the pipes to the pump, the joints are supplied with O-rings which must under all circumstances be used.
▪ The pipes must be connected to the couplings and glued in place.
▪ The delivery pipe must be fitted at a right angle and perfectly centred with respect to the outlets to be connected,
so as to avoid the pump and pipe from being subjected to external stresses which could cause them to break,
irrespective of the assembly operations. We recommend a vertical pipe length of approx. 60cm to facilitate the
priming of the pump.
▪ A slight tilt of the suction pipes (2%) will prevent any air pockets from forming.
3.3 STARTING UP AND PRIMING
▪ Position of valves: suction closed, delivery closed.
1 - Cut off the electricity supply to the pump.
2 - Fill the pump body with water (imperative)
3 - Switch the electricity back on.
4 - Start the pump
5 - Immediately, open the suction valve and slowly the delivery valve
▪ The pump should be primed within a few minutes; if not, start again.
3.4 OPERATION
▪ The pump should operate without making any noise or vibrations.
▪ Check for any leaks on a regular basis.
▪ Always stop the pump before handling the valve on your filter (6-way) on the swimming pool's hydraulic circuit.
