2. IF YOUR HELMET IS SUBJECTED TO AN IMPACT DONOT
PUT IT ON.
Never use a helmet that has suffered an impact. Although visible damage may not
appear on the shell the helmet accomplishes its shock absorbing functions through
the alteration and/or partial destruction.in essence a helmet is, therefore,unable to
perform the functions for which it was designed after a severe impact. A helmet
which has suffered a severe blow should be discarded and replaced or returned
for a competent inspection.
