Installing and changing the saw blade

ATTENTION!
❐ When installing the saw blade, make sure that the saw blade is fl ush on the inner fl ange.
Otherwise the saw may jam or the saw blade may separate!
❐ Danger of injury! Be absolutely sure to remove the Allen wrench before you activate the
device.
Wear protective gloves when changing the saw blade.
1. Remove the shield over the tensioning screw.
2. Insert the Allen wrench in the tensioning screw and push the locking button for the drive
shaft.
3. Now loosen the tensioning screw by turning it clockwise with the Allen wrench (left-hand
threading).
4. Remove the screw and the fl ange connected to the screw (outer fl ange).
5. Push the locking button for the protective shield and push the shield up somewhat.
6. Carefully pull the saw blade out to the bottom.
7. Slide the new saw blade into the saw and mount it on the inner fl ange. In the process, pay
attention to the direction of rotation: The direction of the arrow on the saw blade and
device must match!
8. Return the tensioning screw with the outer fl ange to its previous position and tighten the
screw with the Allen wrench by turning it counter-clockwise (left-handed threading).
9. Close the shield again and to conclude, make sure that the saw blade is properly aligned.
