1 About this manual

1.1 About the device
The VMI-02MP03 is a presence sensor for a ventilation system. The device
communicates information about presence via wireless communications with
the central control device.
1.2 How to use this manual

2.3 General safety instructions
The device is designed for indoor use only. Do not expose the device to rain or
moisture, to avoid short circuit. Short circuit may cause fire or electric shock haz-
ard. Operate the device between 0°C and 40°C. For cleaning of the device use a
soft damp cloth only. Never use any abrasive or chemical cleaner.
Do not paint the device.
3 Description
3.1 Intended use

3.2 Working principle
The device communicates with the control device using wireless communica-
tions in order to control the ventilation. The device switches on the light if it
detects movement. Movement in front of the device requests the high fan

speed and switches light on.

3.2.1 Light switch
The device detects movement in front of the device. If movement is detected,
it switches the lights on for the relay on time (ROT) and sets the ventilation to
high for a time, depending the ventilation unit.

Indien alle luchttechnische en elektrische aansluitingen uitgevoerd zijn mag de
stekker in het stopcontact gestoken worden.
Instellen van de luchtcapaciteit:
Het debiet in stand HIGH kan ingesteld worden door middel van de poten-
tiometer. De potentiometer bevindt zicht op de printplaat. Het debiet van
stand "HIGH" kan ingesteld worden door met een platte schroevendraaier de
potentiometer te roteren. Als deze volledig in tegenwijzerzin is gedraaid, is de
ventilatie-unit op zijn minimum ingesteld. Als de deze volledig in wijzerzin is
gedraaid is de ventilatie-unit op zijn maximum ingesteld. Het maximum van
de unit komt overeen met 400m³/h bij 150Pa. Onderstaande figuur geeft een
richtwaarde voor het instellen van de potentiometer.
