10. Cleaning and maintaining the appli-
ance
WARNING!
Risk of injury from electric shock due to live parts.
Switch off the appliance and unplug the mains plug from the socket
before cleaning the appliance.
Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
Clean the outer surfaces of the appliance with a soft, slightly damp
cloth.
Never use acidic, abrasive or granular, acetic-acid-, soda-, alcohol- or
solvent-based cleaning agents. These may damage the appliance
surfaces or the printing on it.
If necessary, rinse the nozzle attachments with water and a mild
detergent.
Clean the air inlet opening as soon as dust accumulates on the out-
er filter. Remove the protective grille from the air inlet opening by
turning it anti-clockwise. Clean the protective grille and the air inlet
opening, e.g. with a brush. After cleaning, replace the protective
grille on the appliance and turn it clockwise to tighten.
After cleaning, allow the appliance and accessories to dry complete-
ly before reassembling and using them.
