Do not make any modifi cations to the device. Also do not re-
place the mains cable yourself. If the device, the mains cable
or the mains plug of the device is damaged, it must be replaced
by the manufacturer, customer service department or a similarly
qualifi ed person (e.g. specialist workshop) in order to avoid any
hazards.
Always check the device for damage before putting it into op-
eration. If the device, mains cable or mains plug shows visible
signs of damage, the device must not be used. Do not use the
device if it has malfunctioned or been dropped in water.
Danger of Injury
Danger of suffocation and injury! Keep the packaging material and the device
away from children and animals.
Make sure that the connected mains cable does not present a trip hazard. Do not
allow it to hang over the edge of tables or cupboards. Others may become caught
and pull the device down.
Danger of burns! The entire brush head will become hot during use! Be careful
handling the device, only hold it by the handle and keep it away from your face, in
particular from your eyes. Allow the device to cool completely before cleaning it.
Danger of Electric Shock
Use the device only in closed rooms.
Only connect the device to a properly installed plug socket. The mains voltage must
match the data on the rating plate of the device. The socket must also be readily
accessible after connection.
Switch off the device and pull the mains plug out of the plug socket if a fault occurs
during operation, if liquids or foreign bodies get into the device, or before a thunder-
storm.
The device must be switched off when inserting or removing the mains plug.
Never immerse the device in water or other liquids! Ensure that the device, the mains
cable and the mains plug cannot fall into water or become wet. Should the device fall
into water, switch off the power supply immediately. Never attempt to pull the device
out of the water while it is still connected to the power supply!
Never touch the device, the mains cable or the mains plug with wet hands.
Danger of Fire
Do not use the device if highly fl ammable gases are present in the air.
Keep the device, the mains cable and the mains plug away from heat sources, e.g.
naked fl ames, hobs, ovens.
Never leave the device unattended when it is switched on or connected to the mains.
