Common Questions
Why is there no sound?
1.
Check that your RadioStreamer is turned on and that the
LED light is lit.
2.
Check that the power adapter is connected correctly
and that the battery has power and does not need to be
replaced.
3. Check that the selected frequency is the same for your
RadioStreamer and for the FM radio.
4. Make sure that your sound source and FM radio are
working correctly.
How do I reduce background "noise"?
1.
Check that no local radio channel is interfering with the
selected frequency. If there is, change the frequency.
2.
Reduce the volume of your sound source and use the FM
radio to adjust the sound volume.
3.
Make sure that the RadioStreamer is not close to any units
such as mobile phones and battery chargers.
4. If the radio cannot find the radio stream broadcast, switch
off the automatic station scan on your radio.
In order for the appliance to work, a high-quality 1.5 V AAA
battery (included on purchase) is required or alternatively
power must be supplied from a 12 V output socket. When
the 12 V adapter is connected, a battery is not required in the
RadioStreamer. A rechargeable 1.5 V AAA battery can also
be used. Note that the playing time of the appliance will vary
according to the type of battery used.
