Chamberlain LIFTMASTER TECHNA BGALARM Instructions

APPLICATION
Audible alarm compatible with BG24DCW/BG24DCG models. This comes
standard in the Parking model, or PBG24DCW/PBG24DCG.
FUNCTIONS
The alarm when installed and enabled through the control board interface
will sound an alarm when the arm is triggered for motion.
ASSEMBLY
Alarm is simple and mounts internally to threaded posts in the operator. It
has a harness that connects to the main board.
TASKS
Disconnect electric power to the operator.
INSTALL BGALARM
1. Loosen the four (4) nuts on the side of the PCB tray and rotate the PCB
tray upwards (figure 1).
2. Mount the alarm to the two (2) operator studs and secure with two (2) nuts.
3. Route the wire harness to the main board and secure the wire harness
with the PCB tray cable holders.
4. Connect the harness to the main board connector (figure 2).
5. Tighten the four (4) nuts on the side of the PCB tray.
6. Restore power to the operator.

ACTIVATE BGALARM
1. Select Enter to navigate to the
Main Menu > Alarm (figure 3).
2. Select preferred mode: ON/OFF
and > to set (figure 4).
3. There will be a display to confirm
selection. Exit screen to navigate
back to Main Menu (figure 5).
