Lock cylinder

Note:
You require a lock cylinder for
the Topcase. Synchronization
with the ignition lock is possible
– ask your
BMW Motorrad retailer.
Mounting lock cylinder

Caution:
Never remove the key from the
removed lock cylinder – the
locking plates would spring out.

• Insert the lock cylinder 1 in
the opening on the Topcase A
and turn it until the retaining
plate engages and the lock
cylinder can no longer be
pulled out. When inserting the
lock cylinder, make sure that
the lock cylinder grasps in the
yellow bar 2; adjust this bar
with a screwdriver if neces-
sary.
