4 - ASSEMBLY

Assembling the handlebar (Fig. 2)
After having carefully read the user and maintenance
manual, you can now begin to assemble your IBEA vacuum
cleaner.
1. Open top of the carton.
2. Remove the components.
3. Align the two lower handles in their grooves and tighten
knobs to fix them in position.
4. Secure the cables to the handle with the plastic retainers.
Assembling the grassbag (Fig. 3)
1. Pull the grassbag over the chute door.
2. Pull the grassbag over the upper handle.
3. Secure the grassbag to its couplings on the handle.
4. Unzip the bag to dump the contents (Fig. 3.1).

Filling the crankcase with oil (Fig. 4)
The engine is supplied without oil in the crankcase.
Therefore, before starting the engine:
1. Place the machine on a flat surface.
2. Pull the cap unscrewing anticlockwise.
3. Slowly pour about 0,6 lt of SAE 30 (SE, SF, SG) oil in the
sump.
4. Let the oil settle for a couple of minutes.
5. Replace the cap.
Filling the fuel tank (Fig. 4)
1. Clean around the tank cap.
2. Take the cap off and fill the tank up to about 15 mm from
the top with clean petrol.
3. Replace cap and clean any spillage.
Drainage of the fuel tank
1. Stop the engine and disconnect the high tension wire
from spark plug.
2. Unscrew the fuel tank cap.
3. Using a siphon, pump the petrol from the tank into a sui-
table container.
