Assemble the sprinkler.
Remove the sprinkler body from the carton and place on a solid surface.
CAUTION: The sprinkler body is made of cast iron. It is very
heavy and could cause injury or be damaged if dropped.
Attach the spray arm with the attached "T" connector to the sprinkler
body. Tighten firmly with your hands. Do not overtighten. Loosen the
remaining nut on the "T" connector and insert the second spray arm
as far as it will go. Tighten the nut to hold the arm in place.
Adjust the spray arms so that the tractor sprinkler will move
properly.
With the sprinkler hose connection facing you, the tip of the left
arm should point toward you and the tip of the right arm should
point away from you. Slightly loosen the nuts to adjust the spray
arms. Turn both arms upward to about a 30-degree angle to water
the maximum area size, or as low as just below horizontal for the
minimum area.
Layout the hose.
The sprinkler follows the route of the hose, toward the faucet. Arrange
the hose in the yard so the sprinkler will travel through the middle of
the watering area.
Add the stop ramp.
The sprinkler is equipped with an
automatic shut-off. This shut-off
is activated when it travels over
the stop ramp. Place the stop ramp
on the hose in the spot where you
want the sprinkler to stop, laying
the hose straight for about five
feet on either side. Insert
the flip-down spike
into the ground.
Set the speed on the sprinkler's selector knob.
The sprinkler has three speed settings. "Low"
makes the sprinkler move slowly while
watering and will result in a more thorough
watering. "High" makes the sprinkler move
more quickly and will result in a lighter
watering. "Neutral" stops the forward
movement of the sprinkler allowing you to use
it as a stationary sprinkler. To adjust, pull up on
the speed selector knob and move.

Attach the hose.
Screw the end of the hose into the back of the
sprinkler. Place the sprinkler over the hose so
that the back tires sit on either side of it and the
front tire lies on top.
Begin watering.
Turn on the faucet and check to make sure that the sprinkler is
spraying and moving properly. The movement is very slow even
when the speed is set to high. When the sprinkler reaches the stop
ramp the watering will cease. Turn off the faucet, remove the hose
and empty out excess water before storing.
NOTE: Do not leave the hose under pressure when not
watering. The hose could burst.

Assemblage de l'arroseur
Retirez le corps de l'arroseur du carton et placez-le sur une surface
dure.
ATTENTION : Le corps de l'arroseur est en fonte, très lourd, et il
pourrait blesser ou s'endommager en cas de chute.
Reliez le bras de pulvérisation muni du raccord en T au corps de
l'arroseur. Serrez-le fermement à la main, sans trop serrer. Desserrez
l'autre écrou sur le raccord en T et enfoncez à fond le deuxième bras
de pulvérisation. Serrez l' é crou pour bien retenir le bras en place.
Réglage des bras de pulvérisation en vue d'un bon
déplacement de l'arroseur enjambeur
En plaçant le raccord de boyau de l'arroseur face à vous, le bout du
bras gauche doit être dirigé vers vous et le bout du bras droit doit
être éloigné de vous. Desserrez légèrement les écrous pour régler
les bras de pulvérisation. Dirigez les deux bras vers le haut à un angle
d' e nviron 30° pour maximiser la surface d'arrosage, ou presque sous
l'horizontale pour minimiser cette surface.
Parcours du boyau
L'arroseur suit la trajectoire du boyau, vers le robinet. Disposez le
boyau sur le terrain de façon qu'il se déplace au milieu de la zone à
arroser.
