Dynamo hub version
1. Carefully disconnect the connector at the hub, open the connector and
pull out the lighting wires.
2. Loosen the screw of the dropout plug in the bottom of the right hand
side fork leg and pull out the plug (Fig. 2, A). Take it off the wire.
3. Loosen the two screws at the back of the light unit.
4. Carefully pull out the light unit, while guiding the wire.
Tip. To ease mounting the wire of the new unit, attach a brake cable to
the end of the wire and use it to pull the new wire through the fork.
5. Refit the new light unit in reverse order. Refit the two screws at the
back.
6. Pull the light wire through the dropout plug, mount the plug on the fork
and refit the screw.

connector – black-and-white to +, black to
connector to the dynamo.
8.
Test the new light unit for correct operation.
RIDE+ version
1. Cut the tie-wrap at the steering tube plug (Fig. 3, A).
2. Use a narrow screw driver to carefully pull out the crown plug at the
right hand side of the fork crown (Fig. 4, A).
Important. Take good note of the wiring route through the holes in the
crown plug and fork to ease installation (Fig. 3, A and Fig. 4, C).
3. Loosen the screw of the connector on the crown plug that secures
the wiring and unwrap the wiring. Push the wire down into the fork.
4. Loosen the two screws at the back of the light unit.
5. Carefully pull out the light unit, while guiding the wire.
6. Refit the new light unit in reverse order. Refit the two screws at the
back. Pull the wire of the new unit up out of the fork with help of e.g.
a spoke.
7. Strip the new wire for 15 mm, wrap the wiring correctly together
(Attention: connect the black-and-white wire from the light unit to the
black wire from the bike ('positive') and the black wire from the light
unit to the black-and-white wire from the bike ('negative', 'ground')),
mount the wiring in the connector, fit the connector in the plug and
fasten the screw.
Tip: test the operation of the light unit before final assembly.
8. Press the plug back on the crown.
Important. Ensure the thin O-ring is present in the groove at the top of
the fork leg Fig. 4, B).
9. Secure the wire with a tie-wrap at the steering tube plug.
Daytime running light function (dynamo hub version only)
When switched on (Fig. 5, A), the Forklight has a daytime running light
function (10 Lux). The light will automatically switch to maximum
illumination (35 Lux) in the dark.
Adjusting the height of the beams
The height of the beams can be adjusted on both sides of the fork
(Fig. 5, C). Adjust the angle of both beams so, that the beams hit the
ground at around 5 meters from the front wheel (at equal angle).
A 'click' sound indicates the end of the adjustable range.
