BEFORE FIRST USE
Carefully unpack the blender and accessories and remove all packaging materials. Wash the
chopping bowl, chopping blade, chopping lid, blending rod, wire whisk and measuring cup in
warm soapy water to remove any dust that may have accumulated during packaging. Do not
immerse the motor base, cord or plug in water or any other liquid. Wipe the motor base with a
damp cloth.
BLENDING ROD
ASSEMBLY AND USE OF BLENDING ROD AND WIRE WHISK
1. Ensure the motor base is unplugged. Attach blending rod or wire whisk to motor base as
shown in Fig. 1-1 and Fig. 2-1 respectively. Hold the motor base while attach blending
rod or wire whisk firmly until the attachment snaps into place and you hear the "click".
2. Place food in suitable container for mixing (measuring cup, beaker, bowl, or stockpot).
When using blending rod, solid food should be less than 0.5 inches. Wire whisk
CANNOT be used for mixing solids.
3. Plug into 220-240 V, 50Hz AC mains outlet.
4. Immerse the blending rod or whisk into your ingredients. Turn the speed to "Min" by
scroll down the controller on the top of motor base to the end. Press the ON/TURBO
switch to begin blending; then gradually increase speed when needed by scrolling up the
controller. Slowly move the rod or whisk up, down and sideways through the food. Note:
To avoid splatter of your food, never lift the blending rod or wire whisk attachment out of
your ingredients while the unit is running.
5. Do not operate the motor continuously for more than one minute when using the blending
rod or wire whisk; pulse the selected speed to your desired consistency.
6. When blending is finished, simply release the ON/TURBO switch, unplug the motor base,
and press the two buttons labeled with arrow in Fig. 1-4 or Fig. 2-4 to remove the
attachment.
7. Wash the attachments in warm soapy water.
