PROGRAMMING UNIQUE CODE TO
WIRELESS IGNITION MODULE
Unique code required for wireless ignition module programming. Contact dealer with VIN to get code or
pull code from vehicle using a capable scan tool. This code is programmed and stored in wireless ignition
module, powertrain control module (PCM) and each ignition key transponder chip. When PCM or wireless
ignition module is replaced, it is necessary to program code into new module using a diagnostic scan tool.
NOTE: If three attempts are made to enter secure access mode using an incorrect PIN, vehicle
will enter lockout mode for one hour. To exit lockout mode, switch ignition to key on, engine
off position for one hour and then enter correct PIN. Be certain that all accessories are turned
off. Charge battery during this time to ensure proper voltage.
CAUTION: If replacing both PCM and wireless ignition module, PCM must be programmed
before wireless ignition module.
