Shut down your notebook.

If connected, disconnect the AC Adapter and turn the system over.
Battery Lock

While pushing the battery latch away from the battery, and holding it in place, slide the battery lock towards the
battery latch; this will unlock the battery.

Lift the battery from the battery compartment.

Insert the new battery into the compartment.

Verify that the battery latch clicks into place
