Cautions for coin / Button cell batteries
• Keep batteries out of reach or small children or those that
require supervision. Should a child, or someone, swallow a
battery, consult a physician immediately.
• Install the battery with the correct polarity (+ and -).
• Dispose of batteries following your local regulations.
• When discarding batteries, insulate the + and - terminals with a
piece of insulating tape. When disposed of improperly, lithium
batteries may short
and pose a hazard.
• Keep batteries away from direct sunlight, high temperature, and
high humidity

If a battery has been ingested, or there is a possibility one might
have been ingested, please seek medical attention and inform
the medical authorities that you suspect battery ingestion.

• cough, gag or drool;
• seem to have a stomach bug or a virus;
• vomit;
• complain of pain in their stomach, chest, or throat;
• appear tired or sluggish; and
• lose their appetite
Since the signs aren't obvious, it's important to keep a close eye
on loose, used, or spare button batteries in your home, as well as
the products that contain them.
