Intended use
Only use the device as intended: It is only suitable for
blood pressure and pulse measurements on the wrist
of adults.
• Visit your GP, if you have health problems. Get advice
there.
• Do not use any mobile telephones in the vicinity. This
could lead to malfunctions.
• Also avoid other radiation sources, in order to carry
out a perfect measurement.
• Do not disassemble or repair the unit yourself. These
activities may only be carried out by the Service
department.

Inserting the batteries

The battery compartment is located on the side of the
housing.
• Open the cover.
• Insert 2 MICRO • AAA • LR03
batteries. Pay attention to the
polarization. You will fi nd notes
on the device.
• Close the cover.
Note:
• Replace the batteries when the battery symbol
lights up.
• This device does not operate with rechargeable
batteries/batteries which only supply 1.2V.

Attention:
• Diff erent battery types or new and used batteries
may not be used together.
• If the device is not going to be used for a long
period, Please remove the batteries, in order to
prevent the leakage of battery acid.
• Do not expose the batteries to heat or direct
sunlight. Never throw batteries in a fi re. There is
danger of explosion!
• Batteries do not belong in household waste. Please
take the exhausted batteries to an appropriate
collection point to a dealer. You can get more
information about it from your municipality.
Rules for measurement
Observe the following rules for measurement:
• 5 minutes before the measurement, sit down, relax and
remain calm.
• Turn the palm of your hand upwards. Spread out your
wrist and fi ngers as naturally as possible.
• Use something soft to support your arm as shown in
the diagram.
• The measuring accuracy will be best if you hold your
wrist at the same height as your heart.
• Sit up straight. Take about 10 deep breaths and then
relax. Start the measuring process.
