When using electrical appliances, basic safety
precautions must always be followed, including the
following:
1. Read all instructions and use only in accordance
with these instructions.
2. The appliance is designed and manufactured for
household use only.
3. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or
knobs when available.
4. Scalding may occur if the lid is removed when
the appliance is operating.
5. Pitcher may overflow if filled above maximum
capacity.
6. CAUTION: To protect against fire, electric shock and
injury to persons do not immerse cord, plugs,
pitcher or base in water or other liquid.
7. Close supervision is necessary when this appliance
is used by or near children. Store the appliance and
all its accessories outside the reach of children.
8. Turn off and unplug the appliance before cleaning
and maintenance. Allow to cool before putting on
or taking off parts, and before cleaning the
appliance.
9. Do not operate appliance with a damaged cord or
plug or after the appliance malfunctions or is
damaged in any manner. Contact Starbucks
customer service (1-800-334-5553) to report any
malfunctions or damage to the appliance.

result in fire, electric shock or injury to persons.
11. Do not use outdoors.
12. Do not let cord hang over the edge of the table or
the counter, or touch hot surfaces.
13. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner,
or in a heated oven. Do not place near water, e.g.
kitchen sink.
14. Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
15. Do not remove foam with metal spoon.
16. Allow to cool before putting away.
17. Do not leave appliance unattended when in use.
18. Do not insert any objects or fingers in the
appliance's openings.
19. The appliance must only be used with the provided
stand.
20. To disconnect, turn power button to "off", then
remove plug from wall outlet.
21. Unplug from outlet after use and when not in use.
